NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

TO CONSIDER:

Compliance with AB 2561/Government Code Section 3502.3 regarding Vacancies, Recruitment and Retention Efforts

Notice is hereby given that the Northwest Mosquito and Vector Control District (“District”) will hold a public hearing at 3:05 p.m. on Thursday, June 19, 2025 to present the status of District vacancies, recruitment, and retention efforts in compliance with AB 2561. The vacancy rate is below 20% of the total number of authorized full-time positions.  The meeting will be held in person at The District’s office located at: 1966 Compton Ave., Corona, CA 92881.

Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing date or before the beginning of the public hearing. Written comments should be emailed to office@northwestmvcd.org.   All interested persons are also invited to observe the hearing and provide live public testimony on this matter.

If you challenge the District’s action in this matter in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.
