Northwest Mosquito and Vector Control District will perform adult mosquito spray treatment on Friday, September 4th, 2026, to reduce mosquito populations in the City of Riverside. The treatment is being conducted in response to elevated adult mosquito abundance in this area.  

The spray application will be conducted between the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. in the Canyon Crest community, south of Ransom Road and West of Canyon Crest Drive. 

This area will be treated with Aqua-Reslin, a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency-registered insecticide (EPA Reg. No. 432-796), using truck-mounted Ultra-Low Volume (ULV) sprayers to control adult mosquitoes.
