Multiple Wide-area Mosquito Sprays Planned

Due to elevated mosquito abundance, the Northwest Mosquito and Vector Control District (NWMVCD) will be conducting a wide area larval and adult  mosquito control applications on September 13th and September 14th, 2023.

On September 13th, NWMVCD will be conducting a barrier mosquito treatment to Wayne Makin Park in the City of Norco between the hours of 7:30am to 11:30am.

On September 14th, a larval spray application will be conducted between the hours of 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. at the following location: the residential neighborhood located in the City of Riverside, South of 12th St., and North of Pennsylvania Ave and Martin Luther King Blvd., situated between Victoria Ave., and Ottawa Ave.

May contain: neighborhood, city, outdoors, and urban

Due to the detection of West Nile virus (WNV) activity and elevated mosquito abundance, the district will perform an adult mosquito spray treatment on September 14, 2023, to lower the mosquito population affecting residential areas within the City of Eastvale. The spray application will be conducted between the hours of 3:00 am to 6:00 am at the following location: the residential area situated between Scholar Way, the 15 FWY., Riverboat Dr., and Limonite Ave. Please see the attached images for the exact spray route.
